Superintendent's Shining Stars

The award recipients use the classroom to inspire innovation, creativity, and critical thinking. Outstanding teachers serving our elementary, intermediate, junior high, and high school campuses will be honored during the fall and spring semesters.

Honored for their commitment to Project Based Learning (PBL) and innovative ways of educating the whole child, Tomball ISD teachers Bethany McDowell (Timber Creek Elementary), Amy Jackson (Oakcrest Intermediate), Stacy Landgrebe (Creekside Park Junior High), and Reyna Herrmann (Tomball Star Academy) were honored as Superintendent Shining Stars in November.


These Tomball ISD educators had the opportunity to meet with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora to discuss how implementing PBL into their way of teaching has positively impacted the students of our Destination District.
