How to adjust your Google Classroom Notifications
GOOGLE MEET PERMISSION SLIP
As you are aware the district has closed building operations, including students attending school on campus through April 10, 2020. As of right now, we have a projected date of April 13 to resume attendance.
First, we hope this email finds you and your family healthy and safe. Nothing is more important than the health of our community and our district is committed to decisions that will protect it.
Secondly, the district desires that we speak with one voice during this time, to minimize confusion. Therefore district announcements will be the mode of communication for us all. We are working behind the scenes as our administrators are working in the forefront, to begin providing engaging activities for our students. As we move forward in the process, we strive to support you as much as possible. Please be patient with us as we allow our district administrators to roll out the specifics.
Finally, we love teaching, and are dedicated to students advancing in knowledge and skills. Providing remote learning can be a positive extension to student learning. We are excited to utilize our Google Classroom more formally as a distance learning platform. Our 7th graders have been familiar with the Google Classroom format as we have used it consistently throughout the school year and we are hopeful that this will ease anxiety about the transition to the “new normal”.
Lessons and assignments will begin on Monday, March 23rd through Google Classroom. Until further notice, lessons for your child's History class will be posted on Mondays and due the following Sunday.
We want you to know that we are here to help you in any way we are able. We believe that email will be the most effective form of communication and we will continue to check and respond to emails daily.
With warm regards
Your 7th grade History Team
